July 21, 2021 Let The Adventure Begin!

Today we begin our next adventure! This little gem will be our multigenerational homestead. We are so excited to grow food, raise chickens & goats, and of course show our girls the wonders of nature. We are only a few minutes from town, but these 5 acres are a whole new world. 

We have big dreams for this property. We will be building Meme and Papa their very own dream home. Mom will get to pick layout, colors, floors, and she is so excited about it. Dad and Eric will do a lot of the building themselves, hard work and love will build this for sure.  

For Us(Eric, myself, Alyssa, Ava) we will be renovating the original farm house. So many possibilities.... will we go up, will we extend out, or just keep its old charm...? I can't wait to take you along on this journey of creating our forever space. 

If you have known us for any amount of time you know our love of nature and animals. Even in town we had as big of a garden as space would allow and absolutely spoiled our laying hens with the best coop and run of the yard(sometimes even the garden heheheh). Out here we will be able to that on a much larger scale. There are barns and greenhouses in our future to help support all our desires. We will also be adding miniature dairy goats! I may have to try my hand at goats milk products like soap or cheese...
